Summary
36-1
In preparation for her fight with Earth Dragon Araba, Kumoko has returned to the pit where she originally fell into the Lower Stratum, intent to wipe out the Finjicote swarm that resides there. Kumoko has chosen this location as it should be the safest area to fight Araba and his high level [Earth Magic] spells.
While getting ready to purge the hive, several Finjicotes are able to sneak attack Kumoko, despite her maxed out [Detection] skill. This leads her to realise racial traits outside of the skill system still have an impact.
One she is ready, Kumoko ascends the pit, unleashing a furious onslaught of thread and magic based attacks. Eventually she is attacked by a General Finjicote, but it is mercilessly killed, confirming the swarm is no longer a threat to her. The slaughter continues until she reaches the nest.
36-2
Upon reaching the nest and unleashes a brutal barrage of magic on the Finjicotes before using [Repellent Evil Eye] to tear the nest apart form the inside out. As the eggs all fall from the collapsing remains, Kumoko slaughters them all mercilessly.
Her work done, Kumoko returns home to find over thirty knights inside and her nest aflame. Kumoko is furious but holds back her anger, but some of the humans start to attack. Kumoko uses [Cursed Evil eye] in self-defence to weaken them but they all drop dead instantly, giving her a massive amount of EXP. This causes her to level up twice and she moults, causing her to fall to the ground.
Surprised by how much EXP she got, Kumoko appraises the other humans, confirming they seem to be stronger than the previous unit she encountered. She notices two outliers, a young summoner and an old wizard. The pair try to appraise her, so Kumoko uses her 'Ruler's Authority' to block the appraisal.
Enraged past the point of no return, Kumoko decides to kill the humans.
